CORPORATE DESIGN

I’m focused on the development of corporate designs and (digital) manuals as part of the corporate identity. This also includes finding a unique style, logo development, image/color conception, UI branding, employer branding, the production of corporate content and much more.

UI/UX DESIGN

I design user interfaces and different digital touch points such as websites, microsites, landing pages, apps, wearables, platforms … I also provide user experience design, conception, wireframes … which is the foundation of every good digital design outcome.

ILLUSTRATION

I create business illustrations, corporate illustrations, characters, infographics, iconography, editorials, advertising … They can be done as digital vector illustrations or with haptic materials such as pencil, paper, water/acrylic color, feathers, chocolate, fabrics, wood …

Before I started working for fancy agenies and my lovely clients, I’ve made my Bachelor of Arts (hons) with first class honours at the “Middlesex University” in London, United Kingdom. Before that I’ve studied communication design at the  “Kölner Design Akademie” in Cologne, Germany, I live a good life.

D&AD “Best of Year”, Middlesex University “First Class Honours”, Featured on “Behance”, “Design made in Germany”, “Das Auge” …

Awards are a good way of advertising and client conviction. There is no doubt about that. That’s the reason I put them here. But besides that I’m not to sure if awards are important. I make good design because that’s my passion and not because I wanna win a fancy dust catcher. I keep showcasing my work on social plattforms but I won’t participate in any further competitions.

ATTITUDE

ATTITUDE

 

I think the most important thing as a designer is not the sensitivity when it comes to proportions, colors and moods. It’s also not about operating Photoshop, Sketch and what so ever like a mad man. These are skills necessary for doing a good job – not for doing an excellent one.

It all comes to a humbled heart. You must trap your ego and all the dreams of prestige and money, that fucking ruins it all. You have to become quite, focused and curious. Listen to the people your working for. Learn from them, serve them and than have fun, keep it real and fucking do the job like there is no tomorrow.

PHILOSOPHY

 

I consider myself a „visual wanderer“. Out there I’m trying to find something, which words can hardly describe. It’s a feeling or condition, which somehow behaves like a person. It’s the shy moment, the funky groove or pure honesty – as I said, it’s really hard to explain. I see my journey not as a job. I’m doing, what I love and lucky me, people like what I do.

On my pathway I’m blessed with meeting many inspiring friends, which teach me in knowledge and wisdom. So I’m getting better from project to project. I haven’t reached the point where I want to be, yet. But I will.

 

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

When I get booked I see it as my responsibility to pass on the financial blessing. The income gives me the chance to support 3 godchildren in Africa on a constant basis and aid agencies such as „Doctors without borders„, „Engineers without borders„, „Compassion„, „Plan„, „SOS Kinderdorf„, „Weihnachten im Schuhkarton“ and „Brot für die Welt„.
