BEAUTY & FUNCTION
For me, design is never just function or form — it is the inseparable symbiosis of both that makes it tangible, useful, and meaningful.
Truly exceptional design captures attention, fosters understanding, and creates connection — not simply because it works, but because it engages emotionally and invites intellectual engagement.
Stefan Sagmeister puts it perfectly: “Beauty is not a superficial luxury, but an integral part of what truly works. When beauty is taken seriously, it does more than enhance the experience — it shapes behavior, perception, and use. Many structures or products conceived purely for function — such as numerous residential buildings from the 1970s — often failed because they were not beautiful, and people simply did not want to engage with them.”
Beauty is not decoration; it is clarity, humanity, and resonance — and it is what makes content and meaning truly perceptible. In digital products and brand experiences, this means approaching technical constraints not as limitations, but as creative challenges: beauty and function amplify each other, making a product genuinely useful and valuable for the people who experience it.

I help brands and people achieve impactful design by specializing in corporate design, user interfaces, and user experience.
My clients range from global corporations to start-ups, family businesses, agencies, and private individuals. I work remotely or in-house, across industries including automotive, e-mobility, bikes, lifestyle products, beverages, food, insurance, and more.
Some of my clients include Audi, DFL Digital Sports, 1. FC Köln, Dyn, Volvo, Ca Go, Toyota, Nintendo, Wacom, HDI, AXA, ARD, ZDF, Swarovski, Campari, Samsung, DHL, A Bola, Ringier, Pernod Ricard, and many more — even Google reached out.
I work across the full design process — from concept and strategy to visual execution and delivery of assets. I’m comfortable working solo, as part of a team, or leading large-scale projects, and I value collaboration with open, committed, and curious people who love what they do and are willing to both learn and share knowledge.
